We also have a pluggit avent. As already mentioned here, you will not have a problem with too high humidity. However, in winter it can be too dry. This winter it went down to 35% at our place. With a controlled residential ventilation system with enthalpy, this would not happen, but it is not necessarily required. In the few problematic weeks of the year, something can easily be done against too dry air. Cooking or drying laundry is actually enough. Plants are also said to help.

We have the PLUGGIT Avent P310. 160sqm living space, plus 2 persons. System is running on level 1 of 4. You can't tell from the power consumption whether the controlled residential ventilation is on or off. I estimate consumption at 1-2 kWh per day! With enthalpy: moisture is recovered => air does not become too dry.

why did you decide against one with enthalpy?

well, to be honest we didn’t inform ourselves well. Our heating technician always installs pluggit and acquaintances have also had good experiences. but we are very satisfied with the device. For us, the controlled residential ventilation is a great luxury gain compared to the previous rental apartment where we also had problems with moisture despite ventilating 3-4 times daily.
