Lighting planning for living room / alternative to spots?

I find that far too dark

Have a wall light point installed in the top left corner, for example, for a dimmable wall lamp. Lighting on the back of the TV can then be done with an LED strip.

I would consider a spot track system. It is surface-mounted and visible, but depending on the equipment, it can look very modern.

I would (even retrospectively) have ceiling recesses drilled instead of spots. And then use surface-mounted spots, which would, for example, also be dimmable. We put them into our spot holes because we found normal spots annoying afterwards.

Thank you very much for the many tips and suggestions. We will probably install a wall light in the top left corner. We have already tested illuminating the TV with an inexpensive LED light. We are also still considering a track system.
