Hello,
well, some kind of lighting has to be installed to walk home after parking the car, so I thought that indirect lighting might look smoother. It shouldn’t burn out or illuminate the object as an UNSECO World Heritage Site.

Otherwise, on one side is the garden with the barbecue area

We manage without it because our front door has a light.
Here is a question for you that you did not answer.

Meaning: do you need lighting or do you want lighting?

As far as I'm concerned, I could do without it. But my wife doesn't want to look at a dark block when she walks in that direction. Therefore, my wife already wishes for lighting in the evening, as some people deal with "darkness" a bit differently :)

If necessary, I could screw on an outdoor light with a motion sensor from Siedle. We don't want to do any tinkering there. If anything, rather just sit/chat.

Then I would say either such a motion sensor thing as you mentioned or a LED strip with low brightness is enough. I don't know if there is something like that with a motion sensor.

When I walk from the garage towards the house, it's 26 m, a lit garage helps me very little to illuminate the path. Or should only the garage be visible? Then combine the garage lighting (LED strip…) with the electric gate or the interior lighting. This stays on for 2-3 minutes afterwards…

If a joint has already been planned there and the ceiling is made of reinforced concrete, then there really is no sensible alternative to your suggestion. You won't be able to drill holes for spotlights anymore and the joint needs to be somehow sealed... So the question is a bit late... This is how we solved it on our own (of course no permanent lighting, but motion detectors or manually switchable):
