But before the house and the lamp outlets are finished.

if I were RICH!, I wouldn’t even flinch if walls had to be broken open again for the perfect lighting. :D

That's how it looks. People like to do something like that afterwards. Since the standard wiring is often not sufficient anyway for the "proper lighting".

Oioioioi...."Glühbrine"....I was only allowed to say that once, the next times I would have been thrown with "light sources" ;) :p

Well, there is a degree of kinship between me and the electrical planner :-D

We took photos of the rooms and lamp outlets, and wandered through lamp stores with them, getting inspired and advised. We found our lamps, the internet is not like seeing in person. 3 lamps are from Slamp.

Rich people would now argue that they didn’t become rich by spending money unnecessarily and are often stingier than the average person :) So far, for our lighting planning, we have simply talked a lot with everyone involved, listened to what the architect thinks, how many lamp outlets the construction company and especially the electrician recommend, and allowed ourselves to be inspired by Instagram, house-building tours on YouTube, or even bathroom brochures. I have looked at an extremely large number of pictures on Instagram or Pinterest of the individual rooms and then thought about what that means for the lighting if I want it to look somewhat similar. For example, we decided to plan three lamp outlets side by side above the kitchen island/the stools, two side lamp outlets next to the bathroom mirror, lighting in the fireplace shelf, spotlights in the guest bathroom by the toilet and shower, a lamp outlet above the coffee table, two light switches above the nightstands like it often is in hotels, and so on. Honestly, we would never have spent money on a lighting planner, no matter how much would be left over, because I prefer to decide that myself and taste is often very individual and then you get annoyed if you have to argue against the planner’s preferences. Whether it will end up as planned, I can’t tell you yet since we are still in the shell construction phase, but in the meantime I have seen a lot more that would ALSO have been great (more indirect lighting, illuminated furniture or stairs, for example) but at some point, you have to set a limit and additional lighting unfortunately costs quite a bit of money. A friend of mine was totally enthusiastic about the Occhio lamps and would have also received consultation and planning when buying the corresponding spots and lights, but for the location of the outlets, if I understood correctly, it is already too late for you, right? What I can also recommend: think about what you liked about the lighting in your parents’ house or houses of friends; that’s how we realized that our dining table lamp absolutely had to be dimmable because we always thought it was great at my parents’ when you could dim it down a little after dinner for wine and chatting. Good luck and above all, have fun with the planning; especially with lighting, there are really great lamps and possibilities!
