We have installed *occhio io giro" instead of recessed spotlights. But it must fit the planned interior. We are very satisfied and would choose them again anytime.

But if the couch is pushed all the way against the wall (because the TV is a few inches too big), then an uplight etc. is more practical. Socket in the corner, but definitely.

We have battery floor lamps from less and more from Cologne "Jules Verne" and "Ylux asl". Beautiful and excellent light. You place them wherever you need them at the moment.

Interesting. I was not familiar with battery floor lamps at all.

Regarding the battery lamp Y-ASL, it says: "at maximum light output at least 6 hours | at least 30 hours at 25%."

Since I currently do not own a floor lamp: How long does the battery last in practice? Are 25%, for example, enough for reading?

Against the "power outlet in window recess for fairy lights" faction, I always had the argument "why are there fairy lights with batteries?". But a floor lamp with a battery? Learned something new again.
