Light incidence - electric roller shutters do not close properly

However, that is not a picture of the room but a close-up of the "hole." Since the hole is obscured by the window frame, the room is likely much darker. A picture from the sleeping position would probably reveal more.

I mean a picture like mine:



A picture from the inside with the shutter lowered, taken without flash. Ideally with an object or something similar in front, so you can see the darkness/brightness. My picture already corresponded quite exactly to the real condition. The outlines of the plant were visible, but nothing more.

Actually, I didn't want to write anything about it: BUT once again the note that this problem is probably not your own personal problem alone, but that of the person who owns the shutters. And that is probably the [Wohnungseigentümergemeinschaft]!!!

How about getting the installation manual from the manufacturer of your roller shutters. They should actually know best how their roller shutters/tracks/compression tape are supposed to be installed. Just ask politely, then you will get it. Then you should know which of the two roller shutter builders is right.
