Could it be that you are overthinking this? These are 2 slits of maybe 3cm², which are then hidden behind the window frame. So not even direct light can enter. If it were to go all the way down, in my opinion it would look bad and brightness would still come through the rail.

Well, I can understand them there. When our shutters are down, it is really pitch dark. That's exactly how I expect it.

Okay, I can only speak to this to a limited extent. Our roller shutters are only closed because of the summer heat protection. We can all sleep even in brightness.

Why don't you just stick a piece of foil over it - as a temporary fix? You can then sleep without a sleep mask again and at least avoid the trouble...

Because I bought a new condo! And I expect it to be done properly and professionally!

According to another roller shutter installer, the compression tape between the wall and the rail was forgotten in our case! This tape compensates for wall unevenness and prevents light from coming through the gaps! And this roller shutter installer also installs the guide rail much deeper! Up to about 3 mm on the aluminum board! This would take care of most of the light entering the bedroom.... Why should I botch it myself when I bought a new roller shutter system...

Because this is a pragmatic solution - I did say "Profisorium". At the same time, you can demand/sue/enforce/blackmail/whatever a professional solution...

But sure, you can now whine for weeks about how terrible everything is, how you can hardly sleep, but a quick solution? Never, that would be too easy and the stress is just too precious...

Good grief, sometimes you really doubt common sense...

By the way, I have a new house and do you really believe that everything is perfect? Get off those ideas - a house is not manufactured industrially with tolerances in the micrometer range.
