Hello,

I am currently working on solving a problem in our guest bathroom. Contrary to plan, the light connection for the WC was not installed in the ceiling but on the wall. Directly above the sink. There is supposed to be a mirror there.

The WC is very small, only 2 square meters.

Do you have a solution for the problem? Would light from a mirror with lighting be sufficient? Do you have any experience with that?

I have attached a picture of the bathroom. Unfortunately, the light connection is not visible. You can roughly see where the light comes from. There is currently a construction socket attached.

We used to have only one light above the mirror and that was definitely enough, the bathroom was under 2sqm in size.

Best regards

Absolutely! Our guest toilet is a bit bigger and we only equipped it with a mirror with integrated lighting, and that's enough. You just have to choose the mirror carefully... Or a strong wall lamp directly above the mirror or a [Spiwgwlaufsatzleuchte]. There are plenty of options... By the way, I really like your tiles.

We have both in the shower toilet, one lamp is more than enough. Nice tiles.

Light on the mirror would definitely be enough, it doesn’t have to be permanent lighting in the guest bathroom. Yeah, the tiles are cool, we have the same or very similar ones too, but in bluish.

One does it that way too. Since a light has to be above the mirror anyway (for illuminating the face) and in a guest bathroom the light alone is sufficient. There are also stylish mirrors with integrated lighting
