What I really like right now in the bathroom/WC are the indirect lighting options in the foot or ceiling area.

I’m fine with my phone’s display light in the bathroom...

Me too, but I don’t want any of our guests to literally pixelate themselves.

Unaware, you read the thread here and get a slight shock because it suddenly hits you that you have two light outlets in the guest bathroom (ceiling, wall). And you also immediately ask yourself, what do you do with both outlets in a small room?!
how is your unused ceiling cable stored? Just hanging there, or cut back very short?

well, we now have a hanging ceiling lamp plus a spotlight above the mirror. The husband absolutely wanted to light both... I find it silly and usually leave the light off – during the day it’s bright enough anyway and in the evening the string light decoration is on.
Additionally, for 3 days now we have a street lamp that does not shine into the house, but is bright enough outside so that the bathroom is also bright.

Guest bathroom has 9m2 with us and has recessed ceiling lights, dimmable. Additionally, light at the mirror. I think it is perfect.

Or, if you only plan the connection as a reserve, put a cleaning cap on it and plaster over it. Then you can't see anything at all and can chip it open if needed.
