Indeed. Applies to Miele just the same. Customer service is rather so-so but the bills are hefty. And because they have premium quality, there’s only a 2-year warranty. What a rip-off.
I have NoFrost in my fridge. The water runs down the back wall, over a small channel into a little hole. Below it is the evaporator, where the dripping water evaporates. If the channel or hole is clogged, the system no longer works. "Deactivating" it is, in my opinion, not possible.
Is the door perhaps leaking? NoFrost is not a cure-all. If the door is open often, or the seal is leaky, warm air flows in, moisture freezes ... NoFrost can’t handle that anymore.
Repairs on such items are done by dealers. Maybe something like EP (Electronic Partner). Euronics
