Large window front - privacy and sun protection

Windows have not been ordered yet. Therefore, an installation solution would be possible. However, there is also enough space to install a box for a front structure.

What kind of delivery time do they have? Your construction progress is already quite advanced.

I have larger post-and-beam facades and the like here in the neighborhood, and they all have [Raffstores]. I estimate the largest to be 6x5m (H/W), but two blinds run side by side there. They definitely cover the entire height. It will work. Just ask the window manufacturer what he can offer that fits. I wouldn't build something like that without air conditioning. The solar gains are really amazing.

As I see it, you already have a split window spanning the entire height. You can install a guide rail there for 2 adjacent [Raffstores]. Just take something more sturdy like [ROMA], which doesn't rattle at the slightest breeze.

What I just thought of: if instead of the small windows in the middle you make some kind of cover, you could probably install 2 or 4 roller shutters, one each for the upper and lower part. If the roller shutter box is then installed on the lower windows, can you then install the upper windows directly above it?

You really don't mean roller shutters, do you? You build such a huge thing and then shut it tight? Roller shutters will be down most of the summer. Venetian blinds too, but at least then you can still look outside. Does the entire ground floor really have roller shutters and no other external sun protection (like overhangs or anything else)? Kinda... well... pretty unfortunate.

Such important details are a matter of construction planning!!! A prefabricated box can ruin the entire facade for you. An installation box requires extensive planning and is certainly more expensive as a result.
