If it remained as the initial draft, wouldn't it be nicer if the bathtub were on the wall with the washbasins?

I would like the design, but I would swap the washbasin and shower. With a width of 2.38 m, that also fits without having the door right behind you at the washbasin. But you often need to get to the washbasin quickly, so I think having it near the door is always best.

Thank you very much for the lively discussion.
It is great to read such constructive feedback here.

As already writes, the guest WC is planned directly under the door-far leg of the bathroom.

the first post was more detailed with exterior view and ground floor plan. However, since that was deleted for me and then my entire account as well, I wanted to upload as little as possible and as much as necessary to avoid upsetting anyone.

The idea with the bathtub at the very bottom also came to us because it is as far away as possible from the noisy area. However, the windows then cause problems here. Bathtub in front of the window and children and fall protection. Unfortunately, we do not know how to elegantly solve this problem for a parapet height of 90cm. Are there suggestions here or is it then standardly the lockable olives?

At first, I was also "convinced" by the original design because I liked having the toilet nicely "hidden" and having a "spa" area. However, this corridor past the shower to the toilet then bothers. In addition, there is no space for cabinets.

As you can see, there are many approaches here and unfortunately also some limitations... thanks to everyone for your thoughts and suggestions.

The windows actually don’t have to be openable, except for cleaning, right? You would still have a window next to the sink. So fixed (if it is easy to reach from outside) and if openable, then I would actually worry less about the fall protection there and take cleaning handles (although I really don’t know if there are nice covers for those...) or lockable handles. But I think there has already been a thread about this here... if were still here, he would surely know which one I mean.

Shower directly next to the tub is not practical. The splashing water always causes limescale stains in and on the tub, and dust also always turns into unsightly dirt spots. This is a concept for people whose cleaning lady cleans the bathroom daily.

I wouldn't change much. I would make the right wall of the shower glass so that it doesn't become such a dark cabin in a room with too many windows. I would swap the bathtub and sink and try to fit a 30 cm deep floor-to-ceiling built-in cupboard between the bathtub and the wall with the door. It would be even better if the top wall could be raised by 30 cm. Then the entrance wouldn't be so narrow.
