But then people at the sink would have the door right beside them, wouldn't they?

I would find the version better, but the storage space issue remains:

No, the width of the room is 2.30, door width about 90, leaving 1.40. Washbasin depth 50 to 60, enough space left to stand.

What do you need a lot of storage space for in the bathroom? We have a hairdryer, comb and such, and towels in the cabinet under the sink. There would still be enough space for other things. Small items in the mirror cabinet. I wouldn’t know what else I should store there.

-15cm pre-wall for the washbasin -30cm for the proposed built-in cabinet -distance from cabinet to door frame and it gets tight. Especially for the one who "has" the left washbasin in the plan (if you have two, you usually have a His & Her sink).

Toilet paper, towels, medications, first aid supplies, cosmetic products and stock of them (at least I do not have 1 shampoo, 1 shower gel and 1 cream, but several of each plus numerous tubes and jars), cleaning products for the bathroom, bowl for foot bath, travel hair dryer, straightener, hair clipper... so I wish for a bathroom someday where I can keep everything in one place and not: towels in the bedroom, bowl under the bed, toilet paper in the kitchen cabinet, cleaning products on another floor, medications in the living room...

Well, if you want to store such quantities in an extra cabinet plus have a walk-in shower, bathtub, double washbasin, then maybe you should consider whether three windows are one too many. :D

A washbasin does not necessarily need a stud wall installation. Medicines, makeup, cream etc. are in our mirror cabinet. Shower gel and shampoo that are in use are in the shower area, toilet paper 3 rolls near the toilet. Everything else in the utility room.

I just counted the little bottles, cans, tubes, and jars of my wife on the shelf in "her" bathroom. I stopped at 40.
Then there are towels, hairdryer, straightener, curling thingy, three brushes, etc. pppppppp.... And the collection in the bedroom...
I know why we are getting house 1.2m Godmorgon and another tall Godmorgon cabinet...
From that, maybe I'll get half a drawer.
