KW40 house: Manufacturer refuses steam extractor

My wife said recently when I smoked the ribs and there was a lot of smoke, that this was not acceptable at all, poor neighbors. Joking aside, that’s exactly what I mean. It is often treated as if cooking smells were something bad. I think except for a few specific dishes, you can get rid of everything quickly with a [controlled residential ventilation system]. And normally, cooking smells rather good to me.

I will repeat 3 circumstances that are not considered by everyone:
1. The supply air would come through a window that is adequately sized (> 200 mm²)

2. The EXHAUST AIR should go outside in SUMMER, in WINTER it can be set to RECIRCULATION (=Hybrid). No warmed air would be lost.

3. The hood moves 800-1100 m³ per hour. I put the number 8000 in quotation marks to show that this is the argument of the house manufacturer.

Retrofitting exhaust air "just like that" is unfortunately not legal, as the overall concept including the extraction system must be calculated – it must remain this way if you want a kfw40 subsidy for a Kw40 house. The building inspection can then be checked up to the repayment grant within 10 years. This may be unlikely, but it is possible. So I would officially be operating outside the legality even though *Attention!* the extractor hood itself would have a certification for low-energy houses. Someone would just have to calculate it. Unfortunately, this someone works as a permanent employee for the manufacturer.

The repayment grant is granted at the beginning of the ten years (as soon as the notification has been made). Then you would just have to be patient for a few weeks after completion.

I don't want to know IF you find a range hood MEANINGFUL, but HOW someone installed a hood despite controlled residential ventilation. Furthermore, I would be interested to know if house manufacturers from Hesse and Austria also flat out refuse.
