You should discuss this with your chimney builder; with us, the supply air enters beneath the firebox.

However, regarding the exhaust hood & ventilation, you won't be able to avoid the district master chimney sweep.

What do all the chimney sweeps and flue cleaners actually do when there are only heat pumps someday? I recently saw one’s dog catcher, and it also said energy consulting on it. But surely not everyone who would otherwise have become a chimney sweep can do that, right?

... then they control the exhaust extractor hoods of all the houses with extra fire burners :)

Smoke detector inspection and then the houses with heat pumps also have a chimney sweep again

I contacted him by email and am just waiting to see if any information comes. Otherwise, I'll just call next week :)

With KNX, such a task is an exercise for the apprentice, requires virtually no devices, and you only need a free input and output somewhere. You come up with the logic... it is included everywhere anyway.

No, it doesn't have to. Electronics are generally maintenance-free.

Maybe our grandchildren will experience that... although that is doubtful. There will still be a very long time when there are existing buildings that cannot really be heated economically with heat pumps.
