Hello, fellow KRAMFORS victims! Our KRAMFORS is now broken for the 2nd time. The first model developed cracks on the surface after a short time. That was replaced relatively hassle-free under warranty. That means the furniture shipping company Hermes picked up the old sofa and immediately brought a new one. But that was more than 2 years ago, and now the surface on the seat and backrest of the "new" sofa is peeling off extensively. - It looks totally awful! Because of my experience with the cracked surface, I always regularly rubbed the sofa with the IKEA leather care lotion. - I probably would have been better off spending that money on Köttbullar and jelly... Now, despite the expired statutory warranty period, I have complained again and have been phoning and emailing like crazy for days. The problem is apparently known, yet now I seem to be dependent on the goodwill of my local furniture store (in Kamen). They will decide whether to take up the matter or not. I am very curious about their decision... I would prefer to pay an extra €500 and buy myself a decent new sofa - the endless replacement program can’t be the solution either... Unfortunately, I have no idea whether I have any claims against IKEA in the presence of an obvious material defect. By the way, regarding delivery, I can add that - as already mentioned - the company "Hermes Einrichtungsservice" from Rietberg delivered our sofas. We also paid the driver directly and received a receipt confirming both the payment and completeness. This receipt consists of 2 DIN-A4 sheets with a large HERMES logo on them. That shouldn’t disappear that easily...
