Hello,

I hope you can help me. I would be very grateful for any assistance!

Number of people: 1, I am 196 cm tall and at some point there will be a second person, who knows :-)

A new kitchen (the first one ever for me) is needed. So I need tips from you. The kitchen should go up to the ceiling so I have to clean less :-)

I would like a standalone refrigerator (because several models are available).

I have received 2 versions attached here, what do you think about them?

So I would have the refrigerator standalone, but I find the cabinet on top nicer than in the first version, as it has the same depth as the refrigerator.

Now, a problem is these cabinet mechanisms, in the second version there are only "normal" cabinet doors installed, because:

1. My kitchen goes up to the top and apparently the door mechanisms from Blum (e.g. AVENTOS HF) don’t open upwards, unless you remove about 10 cm from the top (so a strip remains, all white, without function), then it would open normally, but that wouldn’t be optimal either, because 2. it will be hard to close if a smaller person has to close the door again?

Somehow I find it practical if it opens upwards, because I am tall and always had trouble hitting my head on it...

So I still need some tips on what is possible.

Then another "problem" is that I want an island/bar/table in my kitchen with drawers.

As you can see in the pictures, in Option 1 there are chairs on one side and drawers on the other side. The problem is that I would like to have at least 5 at the table (when my family visits) where people can eat and maybe also 6-7 if we have a poker night or just invite a few more friends over.

In Option 1 I like the table aesthetically, but there would have to be a system that can adjust the top on the other side (see picture below) or some other idea?

In Option 2 the table is oval and with that you can probably have more people around it...

These are my "problems" for now, afterwards I would also be interested in which compartments/drawers I need.

Is there a floor plan with the relevant ancillary rooms? Room dimensions? Is it an old building? Is it a new building? Can anything still be changed on the walls? An island is nice for working if you have a view. Looking at the wall is not really what you dream of, if there is another option. You can gladly sit at an island workstation for a coffee, but not for a planned social gathering. That is not productive. Overall, I now see the small kitchenette as a usable apartment kitchen, but whether you really need such a fuss with a 3.30 standard, I don't know. It seems that the room really has potential to become a cook’s kitchen...
