Berbel or similar is already top. I myself have a Berbel recirculation hood (a large Glassline), which works better than a T€ 1 exhaust hood from BSH (which I had before).

The only real must-have that comes to mind is the induction cooktop.

If a downdraft extractor hood, then built into the cooktop (Bora / Berbel) (I don't have one, but I cook with gas which I really love)

Fully automatic coffee machine?? I am a coffee drinker, but now I prefer to "invest" more in very good coffee myself (you can say that with the kg prices ;)) than in the machine (French Press for 59€). The FP goes into the cupboard after use, an automatic machine would be in the way. It fits 4 cups for guests, new coffee is quickly made. Completely without "noise" ;)

Just like the toaster, which I am now giving away after I thought I had lost it and bake bread or rolls in the oven.

Don’t save on the oven (I did that at first and returned the oven after three weeks (Ikea) and installed a Miele)

The dishwasher should be very quiet with an open living concept, I find the Home Connect function practical and use it to start the dishwasher in a "power-optimized" way. I have not yet implemented a surplus control for that.

My brother has a Quooker, I think it’s brilliant and when I figure out how to fit it into my mini kitchen unit, that will be the next purchase so the kettle can disappear.

If I had planned more space for the kitchen (and my apartment was bigger and money didn’t matter) a combination with a Tepan would be brilliant.

Out of curiosity, I ask the group who still/again or additionally cooks with gas? Chefs swear by the gas stove, and we are also considering it. However, we do not have a gas connection.

I really miss cooking with gas. Induction is also great, almost just as fast and convenient But only almost. My house doesn’t have a gas connection, so I didn’t have much choice. I don’t really want to have a gas cylinder in the house.
