I am currently facing the same decision, in my approval the completed residential unit is indeed present in the floor plan, but I only had it approved as a single-family house. However, since my mother-in-law is moving in for an unknown period, I would design or build this area right away with a closed door and separate entrance...
According to the energy consultant, I could apply for loan 153 twice like this...
Would KfW accept this, or do you first have to submit a plan to the building authority in which I get approval for a second completed residential unit...
It is purely for private use and will not be rented out, as I do not want to create an additional parking space..
