Hello,

I have now tried to make puree from the fruit. Now I do not know how long the puree will keep in the jars? Does anyone know how long puree can be stored in jars?

Hello everyone,

Thank you very much for your tips. I will just try it now, and if it worked, I will let you know. I will also try it with the Mus.

So if everything was done correctly, jars disinfected, etc., then a jam or a puree is shelf-stable for about 1 year. As already mentioned, jars with glass lids and rubber bands are really great. Because if something does spoil, the lid will come off the jar, and you immediately know what’s going on.

Best regards, Mara :)

Hello mara,

I would also have said that the jam or the puree is good for one year. Provided you work cleanly. For example, I fill the sterile jars and finally pour a shot of rum on top. Then I light the rum and close the jar immediately. That's how I preserve my jams.
