Probably normal roughcast plaster? Then the price is okay, as there is significantly more effort involved in the processing.
And see how you imagine the broom finish, there are huge differences in its expression!
I also believe that in combination with the wood it might be too much. I like both the broom finish look and the wood accents very much, you see that more and more often in our region, but I have actually never seen it in combination.
Maybe because the overall appearance becomes very busy?

You might really be right that it becomes too busy.
My hope was that such possible "dents" would be less visible than with smooth plaster.
But yes, I will reconsider it.
I first have to see how I can mount the rhombus slats.
