Is the cost of underfloor heating completely exaggerated?

Hello,

thank you for your assessment. There is also underfloor heating in the basement. If I manage timewise, I will try to upload the floor plan. Exactly, the living area does not include the basement.

So with my [BT] the underfloor heating throughout the entire house also cost an additional 12,000 euros. I resisted it for a long time and convinced myself that I didn’t need underfloor heating; after all, I had radiators for the last 10 years and didn’t miss having underfloor heating. After endless conversations with my parents and current neighbors and considering all the nice things you could do with 12,000 euros, I finally decided to go for the underfloor heating. Yes, I know it’s a rip-off, but the [BT] simply holds the upper hand here. In the end, I still think I don’t need the underfloor heating, but I’m glad I got it anyway. You can arrange all the furniture however you like (this is the most important point for me), and in my opinion, underfloor heating plays a key role in resale value.

We recently had surcharges of 7,500-11,500 for a gas condensing boiler with flat radiators in the price list at a BT near Cologne. So, depending on whether you wanted to equip only the ground floor or ground floor + upper floor or ground floor + upper floor + attic with underfloor heating. Square meters in full expansion 145 sqm

Where in the last expansion stage no radiators would have been possible in the basement (with the partial expansion stages, otherwise a gas condensing boiler with a multi-circuit system would have been installed). But the 2 radiators in the basement would have been an additional charge of 950 for both anyway.

I think this is a kind of mixed calculation with some BTs. The developer advertises a low starting price (with a somewhat lower margin factored in) and tries to increase it later on.

Because there are things that almost everyone wants.
