Is gas condensing boiler heating sensible for a newly built single-family house according to the Energy Saving Ordinance 2016?

My acquaintance said that the heating costs are more expensive than with a heat pump. In addition, the gas condensing boiler is not particularly suitable for underfloor heating because underfloor heating requires lower flow temperatures. Can such low flow temperatures also be achieved with a gas condensing boiler? Or does it always operate with higher flow temperatures?

That's simply not true at all. What does your acquaintance do to be able to make such statements?

Heating costs for air heat pumps and gas with collectors are roughly the same, depending on how harsh a winter is and how much hot water is needed. And yes, you can also run low flow temperatures with gas. Why not.

That's fine, what your construction company suggests. Do it and be happy about low investment and operating costs. Only the storage capacity I find a bit large ...

Why is the memory too large? Honestly, I don't understand the technology either. What exactly is a [Kombispeicher]?

In your utility room there will be an insulated tank containing hot water, the heating of which is done either by gas or solar or in combination of both. Its size should be designed so that everyone living in the house can, for example, comfortably shower. Heating more water is a waste of energy. Karsten

Well, but he is getting 7.5 sqm of solar thermal. Where to put all the hot water? Therefore, the storage tank is IMHO already properly sized.
