And is the combination storage tank then actually filled with drinking water or also with heating water. According to the building description, the solar collectors are for hot water preparation and heating support. And can someone please also explain to me what 600/170 means on the combination storage tank?

A combined storage tank combines both for and for in a larger container. This means that warm water, typically from a , is stored temporarily for both purposes to be used later. This allows periods without sunshine to be bridged without any additional heating, depending on the heating demand and storage size. Overall, it requires less space than two separate buffer tanks and reduces thermal losses. Usually, these tanks are externally insulated and designed for minimal heat loss. Typically, it is a tank-in-tank system, meaning a two-container system arranged within each other. So, it is a combined buffer tank with a heat exchange plate in between. On top is a smaller inner tank for domestic water, i.e., water for showering, washing, etc., and surrounding it is the significantly larger storage volume for heating water for space heating.

600 refers to the total amount of water
170 storage volume

In my opinion, you should not choose the heating support and only opt for five square meters of cells for hot water alone and a smaller storage tank. That is significantly more economical. Compare it. The sun will then heat additionally when you do not need heating, between April and October. But you always need hot water, even in July. Karsten

The question for me would be: what minimum collector size does he have to build concerning the Renewable Energy Heat Act.

No, the question is how many cells would be reasonable for the amount of hot water needed and to be stored in the family. It is nonsense to choose the three-liter engine for a car in Dk, where 110 is the max speed. If one or two square meters are missing according to the energy law, so what, no one cares about that in practice. K.

But the Danes like to do that. After all, the car also has to race on the German highways sometimes...
