Background:
In mid-August 2010, shortly after purchasing a two-family house, my bank advisor informed me that the individual funding measures would be discontinued in a few days and that I should secure them quickly. Well, two inquiries led to the following rough estimate -> facade insulation about 30,000 euros and windows about 20,000 euros. This is how a KfW loan was applied for and granted.
Now and today:
I have not yet activated this loan because there are still some other more important measures to be taken before these (roof sealing and insulation, basement waterproofing, ...). Since March 1st, individual measures have been possible again and I would like to extend my previously unused 50,000 € with further individual measures such as a heat pump (which was not foreseeable at the time), a room air system, and the higher actual costs for facade insulation and windows. An estimated further 37,000 euros would probably be necessary. In addition, it is now intended, through all these individual measures, to possibly achieve a KfW efficiency house standard (which one, I cannot say yet).
Is such an extension of the KfW loan possible 'without problems' or does the already concluded contract from 2010 speak against it? The bank advisor has to inquire himself first, and that is making me uneasy.
And can I hope to switch from this KfW funding to a grant-eligible funding for a KfW efficiency house?
