New devices are not loud.

I leave [Buddelhosen] dry and shake them out before they go into the laundry

We still don’t know that one, the development plan. Am I right?
Just upload it so we can give you personal tips, instead of groping around in the fog here.

And so it shows that everyone has different needs. We have them upstairs in the bedrooms and don’t hear them.
But I could also imagine them on the ground floor, since we spend most of the time there.
But space required it upstairs.
However, I definitely wouldn’t want to carry laundry up and down two floors – I had that and despite a comfortable staircase rated it as not practical for everyday use.
You can’t make a blanket statement about such things: there are houses where the children’s rooms are planned on the ground floor with a large utility room, storage and office then on the upper floor. So the ground floor also comes into question… etc.
You just have to think it through yourself.

Actually, I meant the upper floor with knee wall and steeper roof

Post the development plan as suggested by Ypg

If the attic is used as a storage room, plan a proper staircase

We bought our appliances new last year, they are from Miele and we specifically chose the quietest ones, but I still find them loud.

Best regards
Sabine

We have Bosch, it is only loud when, for example, I throw in shoes. The old Bauknecht was worlds louder. Or is it because you can hear traffic in the background. It is not loud or disturbing, but still present and overlays everything.
