Is a stair floor plan 2x1/4 spiraled + landing possible with a maximum of 2.4x2.4m?

We would have space for 2.4m width and 2.77m length on the upper floor or 2.25m on the ground floor, as I just drew in the plan. That should fit, after all, the basic dimensions of your staircase are even smaller, right?

I still don't quite understand why the staircase you showed is supposed to be comfortable and the one I drew is not. I would be very grateful for a hint on what/how I can change.

what do you think about the staircase as planned it - do you think it is comfortable to walk on?

Have you ever considered a staircase with a landing? The two intermediate steps between the landings might slightly interrupt the stepping rhythm or feel unusual at first when climbing the stairs. We also thought about making such a staircase for a long time, but for that, our house was too narrow. Comfort is relative; it only gets really comfortable with an elevator, but the staircase should have a width of at least 1 meter. The minimum dimensions are just minimum dimensions; it will definitely work.

You also have intermediate levels, do these make it "bumpy" for you as well? With a landing it becomes too low, so we would rather take the half-winder. Also with a minimum dimension of 1m. So probably a winder after all.

You also build with architects? I would just discuss the matter calmly with him again.

It doesn't have to be rough or rather every staircase that interrupts the stepping sequence is actually rough (ours too). I once read something that it is generally best to climb the stairs without interruptions and that there tend to be fewer accidents without landings etc.
But we also preferred something for the eye and therefore accepted it. Bigger and wider is of course always nicer, but there are limits somewhere. As I said, the staircase will definitely work and I can also imagine it quite nicely.

Yes, that is also my plan, I just want to sort the ideas in my head first so that I can then go through them with him during the conversation.

It sounds to me like it is a decision between "perfect run" and "good run and aesthetics." I will now take a half-turn and the ones I have drawn and bring them up with him.

But by halbgewendelt you actually mean a 2x 1/4 turned one, right?
