Is a floor drain and a separate water pipe possible?

Yes, not really, but strangely enough they don’t even jump on there when I cut meat. Then they circle around my legs and meow pitifully, but for some reason they don’t dare to jump up. It could be that my wife (she brought them with her) was pretty harsh with them at the very beginning... Yes, and when dealing with animals daily, you don’t take hand washing quite so seriously anymore, that’s true. When it comes to visitors, whether I am visited or I visit someone, it’s different for me at least.

and that sounds great, or rather looks great! That gives me hope. :) the connection is not entirely clear to me. My cats can go into the kitchen, no matter where the bowl is placed or a drinking fountain would be installed, since we are planning an open living-dining area. Otherwise, that would mean that everyone with pets would need a separate kitchen and constantly close the door. I have to disappoint you, it doesn’t work that way. ;) But even my cats, just like ’s, don’t jump around on the countertops. Hygiene standards are a personal matter. If people don’t wash their hands after touching their cats and before handling food, then they probably don’t do it after leaving the bathroom either. ;) I’m simply a big fan of making things as easy as possible for myself. :D That’s why I have an automatic feeder, an automatic cat toilet, and the semi-optimal drinking solution in the guest bathroom. Especially the cat with kidney problems, who urgently needs the water, is unfortunately a bit silly and has some issues with the current solution, so the idea of the "drinking fountain" on the floor came to me. But I’ve already gathered that it shouldn’t be rocket science. :)

oh, I don’t know if it depends on how the cats are raised. We raised all of ours the same way and our current cat doesn’t even jump on the table when it’s set with sausage platters etc. and no one is in the room. She has also never been on the countertop.

Then we had one where you sat in your seat and were eating and suddenly a paw came from under your arm and pulled things off your plate  you couldn’t look that fast
