Maybe it was more expensive as well. The cutoff date BRW is 31.12, possibly the purchase cases are not included yet. We paid 120. Construction price about 1300 euros per sqm ... I don't remember exactly but there's a topic from me about that here. Two years later you can probably count on 10% more due to energy saving regulations and general price increases.

We paid 105 (in the district town, but still only a medium center without a cinema) and get 10 of that back as a child bonus if we live there with the children for 10 years. However, if at least one of us doesn't stay living there for 10 years, we have to pay an additional 25. If everything goes according to plan, I can't complain . In case of divorce/death/relocation, it's just unfortunate.

I find a basement useful because it can be used for many things, such as storage for bicycles or other items, or a workshop.

The fact alone that a non-existent basement cannot flood during heavy rain events was already a reason for us not to build a basement, the house is about 50 cm above street level, no creek nearby, elevation 18 m above zero, so everything is fine.
