Is a basement in a single-family house useful or rather too expensive?

...can you tell me the average price per square meter of the building plot and the average size of the building plots?
I'd be interested...roughly is enough...

Building plots 600 to 700 sqm, BRW around 120 euros, all types of building styles are included, bungalow, semi-detached house, city villa ... sqm are difficult to estimate, what is listed on Immoscout (for rent or ownership terraced house) is between 110 and 150 sqm

...at that price, I would also have a plot size like that and considered building without a basement, but with compensatory space on the ground floor instead. Or a garage or extension or, or... and I almost assume that in your area the construction costs themselves are somewhat cheaper.

We paid about three times as much per sqm...

As I already said, very individual and depends on the circumstances.

We paid 105 (in the district town, but still only a medium center without a cinema) and get 10 of that back as a child bonus if we live there for 10 years with the children. However, if at least one of us does not live there for 10 years, we have to pay an additional 25. If everything goes according to plan, I can't complain . In case of divorce/death/transfer, it's just unfortunate.
