But you do remember that there must be two separate circuits? Well water must under no circumstances come into contact with the "normal" fresh water. In this respect, it would have been sensible to do the analysis BEFORE laying the additional pipe.

Why does the entire area have to be watered at all?

Of course, when installing, one also relies somewhat on the master plumber company that has already installed this several times in single-family homes. However, I will speak with him again and ask him all the questions that have come up here. Many thanks in advance for that!

I will sit down with the planning again and see how many zones I would need.

That is a good question. Can we do without irrigation? It has not yet been decided whether we will lay down sod or sow grass. Otherwise, I have thought about simply watering the large lawn area with a mobile plumber. And planning the rest of the irrigation only for the beds.

I would only water the lower third near the house and plant it as ornamental lawn, leaving the rest as a meadow with fruit trees or shrubs.

If you don’t want a perfect golf lawn, usually yes. If it doesn’t rain for a long time in summer, you can also water a bit with the mobile sprinkler. If you water constantly, you also have to mow the lawn constantly ;)
It’s a bit different with the vegetable garden, it needs a bit more water.

And of course, you have to water regularly during the establishment phase. But you can also coordinate the sowing a bit with the weather.

I would water everything. Maybe in the back part, two simple square sprinklers will do as well.
