The professional brands like Hunter or Rainbird are neck and neck and also combine well. Please just don't use Gardena. It's not good quality for irrigation and after 1-2 years you will have to replace it. It's more expensive too...
Please read properly about how irrigation should be planned.
Thanks, I know - unfortunately.
This is a special topic with many possibilities.
So far I simply lacked the time for it and since I will already start the next new construction project this late summer (as soon as the development is finished), unfortunately I won't have time for it for the next 2 years either.
I currently use Geka couplings and sector sprinklers. They branch off individually from the main line 1.5" PE pipe via T-piece.
4 pieces in the corners, and about 80m of these drip hoses for irrigation in the front yard and in the beds.
I basically open the ball valve, the pump starts, and 2 hours later I close the valve again, the pump turns off. Done.
It can be done better, but for a fully automated system for garden, side area and front yard you would definitely need at least a week until everything runs, if that's even enough! (as a non-expert)
Landscapers would probably be tearing their hair out, but this is enough for me at the moment :D
