Good morning, I got very motivated to start assembling the kitchen. So far so good...... Metod base cabinets 80 cm high. Ikea Skinande dishwasher or something... I will probably manage the panel eventually. But now I really need help. Yesterday the electrician came and installed our Siemens stove. My husband says: Congratulations, it fits. I come home from work and think, how now, 2 cm of space under the countertop and really this ventilation grille for Ikea appliances completely visible...... I just can't believe how two men could just leave it like that. Now I wonder, does the electrician have to come back to uninstall the stove again, how high do I have to fix the floor where the stove stands so that the drawer closes as well. I hope the pictures can be opened, otherwise there are two in my album. I already say thank you in advance if anyone has tips for me.

Oh dear, and why are there gaps between the cabinets on the left? The stove needs to be taken out again. If the cable is long enough, the electrician does not have to do it. Follow the instructions for installing an IKEA oven. The important measurement is on p. 13.

Thanks already for the quick responses, I also thought the stove has to go. Good that the electrician doesn't have to come again. The gap on the left was not planned, but somehow the whole measurement and planning didn't seem quite right. We omitted the 15 cm panel at the sink because the drawers open very well. Next to the stove, instead of a 40 cm cabinet, there can be a 60 cm one, which I think is very good. Unfortunately, the countertop is 1.5 cm too long and has to be shortened again. I am removing the microwave tall cabinet and the 60 cm cabinet next to it and wanted to shorten them directly. Because the drawers of the tall cabinet open only with difficulty, I suspect there needs to be 1 cm of space. It doesn't all have to be perfect but it should fit. I'm just unsure whether the ceramic cooktop in the countertop can stay during the cutting or if it might crack due to the vibration of the jigsaw.

If the countertop does not extend far beyond, it will not vibrate significantly. A circular saw is better for a clean cut. The cabinets should have been pushed to the left so that the gap is between the wall and the sink cabinet. This is then closed by a fitting piece. However, this is no longer possible because of the cutouts. If all drawers are difficult to open, it is not because of too little space to an adjacent cabinet (actually, this is generally not a reason). Rather, the tall cabinet is more likely to be crooked. It also appears in the picture that the gap to the base cabinet without a back panel is smaller at the top than at the bottom, which indicates a crooked carcass.

I think it’s because of the tall cabinet and the countertop pressing the cabinet against the wall, and the drawer fronts are scratching the textured wallpaper. I am already grateful for the tips on page 13; the drawer should close like that. The stove will still have to be higher because I don’t want to see this ventilation strip.

And the US next to the stove ops: I just shoved it in crookedly because I was about to damage the countertop and beat up my husband anyway (poor man)
