Install a shower in the guest toilet - what are the costs?

We are considering buying a house, the bathrooms were renovated about 10 years ago. However, we still need a shower for our situation, so we might replace the toilet in the guest WC with a shower. It should not be a walk-in shower, it can be simple with a glass shower wall.

Can you roughly estimate how much that might cost?

We received a first, rough estimate for the conversion of a tub with an instantaneous water heater to a shower with a hot water connection from our plumber a few months ago. It was between 3500-4000 euros. Realistically, in the end, probably rather 4500-5000 euros. And that did not include the removal of the tub and the tiling work. I estimate that your project will require even more effort because you need to seal the walls and floor. Then it amounts to a complete renovation. Or you imagine placing a prefabricated shower cabin in front of the window and laying the supply lines on the surface. We once had that in a vacation apartment. But it's not very elegant.
