Hello!

Somehow I seem to be too stupid to use this new siphon properly... it’s supposed to have connections for dishwasher AND washing machine... but I only see one, which is pretty stupidly placed, because: it’s mounted vertically on top. Can someone help me out here?

Edit
There’s only one, unbelievable. The Atlant had two. Which idiot designed this thing and why on earth did the old ATLANT have to be replaced?!!

I have already scoured half the internet looking for a suitable cuttable dip tube with 2 drain connections, in vain, Ikea has its own dimensions, for the same reason no other siphon is possible. There are also no flexible Y-distributors.

How does IKEA intend to enable its customers to connect dishwasher and washing machine simultaneously like before?

Hello,

I'm afraid you can only connect one device. The catalog mentions "connection" for dishwasher and washing machine - unfortunately not connections. If you install the Lillviken for two basins, you can also install a second drain hose.

Sorry, but it simply cannot be that this company forces its customers to buy something that is completely unnecessary, takes up needless space, and still costs a whopping 15,- € more (ATLANT cost 10,- €), just to have the same functionality as before?!! Or 10,- € more than the single basin version?!!

THAT is downright cheeky and outrageous! They are blatantly exploiting the fact that people rely on it! A case for a wave of outrage...

I will solve the problem with a piece of drain hose, Y-connector, and hose clamps. Even though such a solution exists, it is either idiocy or brazenness on IKEA's part. Truly an imposition!

I only said that the siphon for two basins also has a second hose connection - for a single basin, installing the double siphon is of course nonsense. Possibly, there is the option to install a different siphon below the strainer basket.

No, unfortunately not. IKEA has its own measurements and the standard diameters are incompatible. That is exactly my frustration.
