So please, I have been planning for 2 months now, arguing with my wife, looking for suitable tiles, scheduling a measuring appointment for August 18th; and now they are discontinuing it? Are they crazy?

So I do find that a shame. I just like the Nodsta. The two possible successors to Nodsta (see a few posts below) don’t really appeal to me. But the new catalog starts on August 12th. Maybe we will know more then.

What I am wondering now, and I hope someone has experience with this: When a new kitchen front is launched, how does ordering work? So far, I have planned everything so that all fronts are more or less in stock because that’s what Ikea told me. I wanted to order my kitchen right after the measuring appointment on August 18th. Then I would have enough time for Ikea to install the kitchen by October 1st.

Just saying... with a new front that probably won’t be stocked anywhere... it could get tight. Does anyone know how quickly Ikea restocks its inventory during a product range change?

Thanks in advance

The successor fronts from Nodsta are already available. Take a look at your IKEA.

Thanks for the info! That's of course true. Well then, VOXTORP! What the heck...

Some fronts like Ekestad or Voxtorp in non-white will not be in stock at all but only available as [Lieferware].

Hello everyone,

I have been planning my kitchen for a while now and unfortunately I just found out that Kroktorp has been discontinued. Now I guess I have to take Hittarp. What are your experiences regarding how long a front generally stays in the range? Or is that impossible to say?

The reason is that this will be my first kitchen and I don’t exactly know how many cabinets I will actually need. So I thought I’d start small and can always add more later (the additional elements would stand separately anyway), but that doesn’t seem to be so easy after all.
