Hello everyone,
we are considering buying two base cabinets from the Godmorgon/Odensvik series for our two washbasins (Villeroy & Boch Subway: 800*470 mm and 600*470 mm):
- GODMORGON / ODENSVIK basin cabinet/2 drawers white
- GODMORGON / ODENSVIK basin cabinet/2 drawers white
Since it is a rental apartment, we do not want to drill holes in the bathroom.
Do you think the two cabinets can be used without wall mounting, that is, with feet underneath and set as high as possible so that the cabinet aligns with the washbasin?
Can the cabinet tip over if the drawers are fully extended in this case?
Is it possible to leave out the siphon of the cabinet so that you basically just slide the base cabinet under the washbasin?
Thanks in advance for your feedback. If it doesn’t work, do you know any alternatives for the specified washbasins? Unfortunately, we have not found any others that fit the sizes except for the expensive Villeroy & Boch original cabinets.
