Hello everyone,

since there is so much support here on various topics, something will surely come out of the bathroom planning ;)

Our bathroom is 2.58x4.00m in size and we actually only want a walk-in shower measuring 1.40x1.00m and not too large a washbasin, we are also unsure whether we even want 2 sinks ^^
In the floor plan it is initially planned like this:

We then rebuilt it in a room planner so you can see how it could fit with the larger shower.
I basically only added the cabinets next to the shower to mark the boundary because otherwise it’s hard to see where it ends.
We somehow don’t like the corner bathtub, we would prefer a normal one arranged against the wall, preferably with a rounded corner (like for example Kaldewei Meisterstück Centro Duo 1, only cheaper o_O ), then you approach the window more smoothly.
By the way, the bathtub in the room planner is 1.80x0.80 and there is still about 80cm left to the wall.
Oh, and the drawn-in washbasin is 1.40 long, just wanted to see what is possible at maximum.

What ideas do you have? We can apparently still design the layout quite flexibly, but unfortunately we are not so creative

Would be happy to hear from you

Best regards

What are your requirements? Like how many people, how many at the same time, how much storage space is needed, special requests,...

I know exactly this kind of bathroom. Super practical, not too much fuss. You can nicely arrange it as you need. I would probably extend the shower a bit, build a half-height wall at the end as a privacy screen for the toilet, and done. I have such a half-height wall and it's super practical.

Depending on the number of people using the bathroom, you could get a double sink. In my opinion, you don't really need it but it is often a "must".

10 sqm is a nice size for a bathroom. One sink would be enough for us, with kids we had two but one would have sufficed. It was just done because it was done...... Currently, we have built two showers, both are 9 x 150. Honestly, I was a bit worried that 90 cm might be too narrow. Now that I am standing inside, I wonder what I was worried about. But I would rather take 150 cm length or even 160, although 140 would also work. I would place the shower outlet on the short wall and, if possible, design it so that the riser pipes run in the wall and you only have the outlet at the top. I would make the shower wall either floor to ceiling or 2 m high, or build a half-high wall and put a straight glass panel on top, it’s a matter of taste. This is inexpensive and works especially well if you then place the glass on the edge outside (stand next to it when it is done and be careful), this way you have a shelf area inside for stuff while showering. The advantage compared to a floor-to-ceiling shower wall is (for me) that you don’t have to bend down a few times after showering to wipe the glass at the bottom. I have already had the version with a half-high wall twice and found it great. Now we have built 2 x floor-to-ceiling and that is good too. The light in your case comes from the front and should therefore be sufficient, I also find the privacy wall for the toilet good. You have to measure whether 90 width is not enough (plus wall thickness), so that you have more passage width. As said, 90 is absolutely fine.

That's right, the 90cm width for a shower is really sufficient. My shower is 180cm long, with the shower head at the head end. At the foot end, I have a half-high wall for stuff. 160cm length would have been enough, but this way it is comfortable. Nothing splashes out while showering.
