Hello,

I hope for many great suggestions here.
I hate spending a lot of time cleaning, but I also don’t want to hire a cleaning lady. Ok, I will have someone come for the windows.

That’s why I’m thinking about what to pay attention to when building and furnishing a house, to always have a clean place without much effort.

Tips from any direction are welcome. Also for the garden.

I’ll start with my thoughts:

- Completely without tiles, everything seamless
- rather spotlights than hanging lights
- masonry showers instead of glass shower cabins
- rimless toilet bowl
- hanging furniture and sofa on legs so that dust and the cleaning robot can move well, so arrange all furniture for the robot
- lots of storage space, little decoration. Rather hang a picture collage than many individual photo stands
- no countertop in the kitchen that goes around the corner. So rather not such a large countertop and free space instead. Store all kitchen appliances/dust collectors in cabinets

We received a vacuum robot as a gift. I thought it was nonsense but I am thrilled; however, it should be of good quality. The appropriate way of setting it up and having little stuff lying around would be helpful.

- Aluminum-colored venetian blinds instead of anthracite should not look as dirty with pollen

That's how we mostly implement it as well. I can't think of anything else to add at the moment... A glass patio roof is still important to me, so that you don't always have to cover the furniture outside and can just leave things standing sometimes.

You can also store toilet brush and toilet paper flush-mounted. Unfortunately, that is extremely expensive. But I think I need that too.

I don't like that so much. A wet toilet brush in a cupboard, I feel like it doesn't dry properly then. We had it mounted on the wall so that the floor is free for the vacuum cleaner.
