That sounds reasonable, because a reliable general contractor is already half the battle and saves you a lot of trouble and thus energy :D !!!
There is a forum about photovoltaics that you can find on Google immediately. In my opinion, they mostly speak "Hebrew" there..... luckily, things are a bit more down-to-earth here, which is good for a simple character like me.
A photovoltaic provider was already mentioned to you further up here, and if you now also take the electrician from the general contractor on board, that would already be more than a start. In our case, it was like this: the electrician from the general contractor made a very good offer and we will probably accept it because then everything comes from one source. Maybe it would be a few euros cheaper elsewhere, but having everything from one source is more important to me.
In the other forum, the opinion prevails that photovoltaics always pay off and you should make them as large as possible, even more than the 9.8 kWp if possible.
In the end, there is no general calculation; we will achieve KfW40Plus but only because we wanted a high insulation standard anyway; therefore, we have to install a storage system anyway, which we will almost get paid for due to the additional subsidy.
As has already been shown here sometimes, you can make a lot look good or bad with storage; for the modules, there are thousands of opinions, some offer longer guarantees, others more performance, the next great price...... for me, reliable implementation is also very important, it is like with cars, almost everything has its justification from Dacia to Lexus.
In our case, it will probably be modules from Solarwatt with a 30-year warranty and made of glass because the electrician sells and knows them, supposedly they are good, but the other providers also have their advantages.
In your case, it might be difficult to build the budget house now for the parents, which they then later want to live in as the desired KfW-xy energy-saving house.
Intuitively, I would therefore consider building the house for the parents now and meeting the current energy standard without KfW measures, that way you already have a super good house, the parents probably use little energy anyway and are thus inherently economical in consumption. If you then want to live in it yourself at some point..... who knows what else will happen in life, only then would I implement the good and then possible measures at that time, be it photovoltaics or something else. Until then, what is modern today is already old rubbish again.
Hello, if you have the storage and the photovoltaic system subsidized, you are not allowed to feed energy into the grid. Furthermore, the feed-in period of a photovoltaic system without subsidy is only 20 years, therefore it is sufficient if the modules have only a 20-year warranty, because then you replace the system. At least that was the case under KFW 153, how it is handled with the BEG is still pending; we are still waiting, also with the construction. Happy New Year.
[*]We would like to achieve KfW40 standard. What measures do you suggest/are mandatory?
- thermal envelope with at least 42.5 bricks (preferably brick instead of aerated concrete etc.)
[*]We have read very positive texts about the economic efficiency of photovoltaic systems with east-west orientation on flat roofs. How do you assess this for our max 30-degree pitched roof? And better 25 or 30 degrees?
- ask here in the forum, possibly solar cadastre, shading, orientation and system calculation with PVSOL. No satellite dish on the roof and no windows either but fully the roof ;)
[*]Does a storage system make sense?
- opinions differ on whether a storage system makes sense and the facts are clear, no, it does not, but it is an expensive toy & for KFW40+ under the BEG it is no longer clearly prescribed, as the WG (residential construction) more focuses on achieving certain energy values instead of "technical systems."
[*]Are there module manufacturers you would particularly recommend?
- Heckert, Q-Cells, LG, and many more.
[*]Can you recommend an energy consultant and/or an expert for the installation of photovoltaic systems in the Ruhr area/Sauerland?
- no, sorry, I don't know anyone there, we come from Saxony.
