: Thanks for your two additional responses. If you no longer want to participate in the discussion, you don't have to. You mentioned something like that at the beginning anyway.

I'll summarize again: We actually afford everything we want to afford. At the end of the month, at least 2,000 euros remain, probably even more. That's nice, with that we will pay off our house in 7 years. Of course, one also has a bit of the idea that might be "too fast." Maybe one is being too frugal after all. I actually find the savings rate very, very high when viewed realistically. We're not such penny-pinchers.

Therefore, the suggestion rightly came up to consider that you could spend 1,000 or 2,000 euros more per month, i.e. "invest in quality of life." Actually, neither of us have any material wishes left unfulfilled. But I would like to get some inspiration here. There have already been suggestions like dream car, instrument, or Disneyland. Suggestions of that kind are what interest me. More of those, please. But if the topic bothers anyone: Just ignore it. No one MUST post here. Thanks!

I understand that. I am open to inspirations and ideas. Whether I personally implement them is another matter. But please don't be offended right away if I don't like something. Just because I don't like it doesn't mean I can't understand that others do. Ideas like dream car, instrument, or Disneyland are quite helpful!

Sorry, that is not called helpful, but rather silly, showing a responsible adult hobby options with which they can fritter away their money.

I agree with that. And I still cannot understand it.

I also don't quite understand why we should help you improve your quality of life.
You yourself write that you lack nothing.
If you still absolutely want to get rid of money, I can gladly give you my account number. I'll get rid of the money somehow.
But the thread is slowly becoming more and more pointless.

You have already experienced everything and own everything you wish for, and you can't think of anything to spend your money on anymore and are asking complete strangers in an internet forum for inspirations that could make you happy.
You really have to let that sink in.
