How much does a good new heat pump cost? Looking for experiences!

First of all, I want to get across that you cannot generally state prices for the different options because it always depends on the circumstances, etc. Basically, geothermal heat pumps are more cost-efficient in the medium to long term. If this option is not feasible for you, I recommend an air-water heat pump in combination with a photovoltaic system.

Why not combine an exhaust air heat pump?

Yeah, back then a salesman offered me an air-to-water heat pump plus a ventilation system with an exhaust air heat pump.

But I didn’t build with him, because as I found out, he kept opening/letting open a new subcontractor that built for him. I suspect this effectively suppressed warranty claims and who knows what other advantages he had at the expense of his customers.

Unfortunately, I no longer have the documents.

Aha ok... got it. You heard something once and would recommend it. But you haven't built it like that yourself. :cool:

I did not recommend anything at all. Are you by any chance a politician or journalist? They are also good at putting words in someone's mouth.

Where exactly did I give a recommendation? Sorry, but you just seem to be looking for trouble, I hope the facts clearly support this for the readers.

And just for clarity: although I built a house, I would by no means act as a "consultant" in this forum. I see myself as a layperson. So please excuse my ignorance in some areas. I heat with gas, not with a heat pump.
