That's nonsense. With two or three clicks, your heat pump can also run at 35°. And the hotter the heat generator, the more frequently it has to cycle. So the heat pump certainly cycles the least.
And the inertia of the underfloor heating has nothing to do with it.

If 21° is too cold for you, I recommend setting it to 22° or 23°. That should help. ;-)

Certainly the heat pump can also do 65 degrees :D but then the electricity consumption rises exponentially. With gas, this increase is rather linear.

@ the others: I am not a fan of fossil fuels. Gradually, or in the coming decades, their purchase will be prohibited and it could, if I interpret media reports correctly, already lead to new restrictions sooner. Pellets do not fall into the same category, but they are not necessarily green either. But as I said, everyone as it suits them. Regarding electricity demand, under suitable conditions (the house must of course have an appropriate location) a photovoltaic system might be worth considering.

no problem and thanks for asking. meanwhile we have actually decided on a model. a drilling is possible at our place, which is why we will have a geothermal heat pump installed in addition to a photovoltaic system at our house. I think that is the best solution for us. the appointment at Vaillant went well, time was taken for our concerns, all questions were answered and we were able to view models in the showroom on site. for us, it fits now and the investment will pay off over time.
