How high does the house rise - how high to pile up earth (cellar depth low)?

Then I misunderstood that?

hm, I have it in mind… never mind…

I forgot about #52: I would then frame the larger window at the back with a self-built light shaft made of natural stone or something like that.

The drawing is in this thread under point 20, and nowhere else under any other name...

You apparently imagined the terrain differently based on the drawings than how it would or has now turned out. Therefore, I’m asking (and feel free to answer with little pictures): WHAT was your idea of the entrance area, terrace, garden, view from the street, etc. Maybe at least parts of it can still be implemented

... enlightening effect is rather weak. I would have liked to help, but can switch to popcorn mode on request ;-)

I am currently finding it hard to imagine the solution with the carport adjoining the terrace door. The carport is actually the last thing we want to build sometime in the future (since it is currently not or only rarely needed) and if we do, it should seamlessly connect to the neighbor’s carport on the left property boundary (“front door side”). I don’t think building the carport in the middle of the property and directly attached to the house would look nice.

I rather favor the solution of raising the level to the terrace door height only in the terrace area, paving a normal terrace there. Where the terrace ends, then stepping down and filling up the rest to about 1 meter level or so.

The idea of everything was already as drawn in post No. 20. But not at this extreme height, the reality of which we only felt once the house was standing... I don't really have a different idea right now to put on paper graphically, but the idea generation is just getting started.
