How good are these IKEA kitchen units?

Hello my dear Ikea fans!
I recently moved to Hamburg, well, it's actually been a good 4 weeks now, and now I basically have my new move ahead of me. I wanted to ask you how I should set up my kitchen. I own a built-in oven and a sink. Everything still looks very sparse and not exactly inviting. At first, I had decided on a country house style (OSLO) for about €700 Gelöscht-Unerwünschte Werbung für Fremdseiten, but now I'm not so sure anymore :D. I definitely didn't want a complete fitted kitchen, but rather individual parts or kitchen blocks!
At IKEA, there are these great kitchen blocks or kitchen islands where you can decide for yourself how the kitchen should look. Has anyone already bought the kitchen blocks and is satisfied with them, or is their stability lacking? I've often heard that IKEA kitchen blocks become unstable after a certain time and start to wobble. Do you see it the same way, or is it like that with every kitchen block?

I would be happy about your comments :) Best regards

Who gives you a 25-year guarantee for a kitchen? IKEA. Why should it wobble after a few years?

The wobble islands were probably not properly secured.

Hi,

do you want to place a kitchen against the wall AS WELL AS into the room?

Since the cabinets that stand against the wall can also be screwed to it again, there is actually hardly anything that can wobble. Of course, it is problematic with wall cabinets that are hung on an unsuitable wall with insufficient mounting materials. For example, a simply plated drywall with standard plugs. It doesn’t matter which kitchen provider’s kitchen is hung there.

Kitchen islands should preferably ALWAYS be attached to the floor. For this purpose, Ikea offers the UTBY legs in 16 cm that can be screwed to the floor. If this is not possible because of underfloor heating or problems with the landlord, you can also build a frame under the cabinets. Kitchen fitters usually use leftover countertops for this, sturdy (formwork) boards from the hardware store work just as well.

Otherwise, as already mentioned, no provider except Ikea gives you a 25-year warranty. They guarantee that your kitchen will last 25 years.
