How does the electric pressure door opener work?

From the installation manual I have derived the following:
There is no separate "sensor," everything is already built into the opener.
So when you press against the front, the drawer will open a few centimeters (pushed forward).
What that is supposed to achieve is unclear to me, because I still have to open the drawer completely by hand...

But I somehow find it funny that it is automatically ordered with the kitchen planner.
They probably think that with a few thousand euros for a kitchen, 100 euros don’t really stand out...

Then something is wrong with yours... We have installed it as well and it extends about 30 cm. You can then easily reach the trash bin.

I couldn't have known that the push is strong enough to open a loaded drawer about 30cm.

Only, how did you solve the issue with the lid of the trash bins?
If the lids of the trash bins do not open when the drawer is pulled out, the whole thing makes little sense, doesn't it?

Unfortunately, there is no solution for the lids to open. I also don’t believe this part is generally an important part of the kitchen. People who want to buy it just want to give the kitchen a little more flair, set a functional accent. It’s not bad either – but of course, everyone has to decide for themselves if it’s worth 90€. Practical – yes... expandable – also yes... just a nice gimmick.
The surprised looks of visitors at home when presenting the new kitchen are also guaranteed – that is important to many people.

I would really like to have the electric push-to-open device, but two things bother me:
-The part is expensive and requires a standby current
-What good is the automatic opening of the drawer if I then can’t open the trash can lid with full hands?

Questions:
Is it possible to mount the drawer of the pull-out slightly tilted (a bit lower in front than in the back), so that the pull-out would always open completely?
Apparently, Ikea does not have a solution for automatically opening the trash can lid. Does anyone know solutions from other manufacturers that could be installed in the Ikea pull-out and mechanically open the trash can lid when opening?
I’m thinking of kitchens from the 70s/80s, where the trash can was mounted on the inside of a hinged door and the lid was automatically lifted when opening?

In my current kitchen (also about 20 years old) I also have such an automatic push-to-open device, but purely mechanical, not electric. You have to tap a lever under the drawer with your foot (which is still free), then the drawer is mechanically pushed out by spring force. When closing the drawer, the spring is rewound.
I will investigate whether such a mechanical solution can be realized in some way in the Ikea pull-out.

Here I have already found a foot pedal that works similarly to ours and could actually replace the Ikea Utrusta:

If you now either mount the drawer slightly inclined downward or, as in our case, equip it with a spring, then the drawer should be able to be fully opened with this foot pedal, right?
