It is really good AND has excellent marketing. You can get better value for money elsewhere. I do not have sufficient knowledge about the quality of fan noise. The Dyson is quieter than the cheap tower fan I once bought from eBay for the kids. I would suggest taking a look at the Rowenta models. A fan does not cool. It only ensures that the air does not stagnate and prevents it from being hot AND stuffy. The slow-running ceiling fans, which some probably only know from American movies, are made exactly for that: silently preventing the feeling of still air.

Exactly. If we had a ceiling outlet and not such a low ceiling, I would probably have a ceiling fan/propeller. Whether it then satisfactorily does what it is supposed to do is unknown to me, because I don’t have one.

We have a ceiling outlet for a lamp

there are lamps with fans.
How exactly do they work? how can you run the fan on the ceiling without turning on the lamp?
when you turn off the light the power is gone (probably impractical in use, right?

what do you think about a wall fan?

would you say that bladeless fans (like for example the Dyson) are better than tower or stand fans?

Power remains and does not disappear.
Google "ceiling fan with light and remote control."

then the control is only possible via the remote control Light and fan can only be controlled via the remote control and the light switch must remain permanently on

Remote control The switch just stays on, the rest is done by the remote control. It’s not practical. Two switches are better. I look at the volume, how much air they move, and would pay attention to the noise. If the location is suitable to ventilate where desired – why not.
