Why shouldn't a split air conditioner work? They are even subsidized.

Can air-to-air heat pumps = air conditioners be subsidized again? Two years ago I already looked into this topic and back then it was said that air conditioners had been removed from the subsidy catalogs. Is that different now?

They are now called electrically operated heat pumps (also explicitly air-to-air heat pump in the Building Energy Act).

We have sold the mobile air conditioner again. At night, a Dyson runs in the bedroom. It works wonderfully. The bedroom is kept dark during the day. Living rooms have shutters during the day but still have light in the room due to additional windows in the north and east.

Yes, but that refers to the replacement of the heating system.

My question was different:

"Is there now again a funding program for the installation of a split air conditioning system (with cooling and heating function) WITHOUT renewing the existing heating system? So simply in addition to the existing heating system?"

Black out the windows and open all windows tomorrow around 4 o’clock. At least for us, the outside temperature is the same as the inside temperature by 5 o’clock, at the latest 5:30. Don’t know if it works for you. It doesn’t work in the new kindergarten building, I tried it last week and went for an early walk.
