I would provide access from the street (not from the driveway), place the entrance and the carport in the NW corner, with the house behind it, rectangular but not square, the house axis parallel to the plot axis. The aerial photo does not suggest two full stories.

then the garage/ CP is exactly in the west. I wouldn't want that. Let's see what the OP says about it.

First of all, thank you very much for your suggestions!

The street is not paved yet, but it will be, since a new settlement was recently developed at the end of this street. Therefore, access from both the south and west is possible.

There isn’t really a slope; the property is relatively flat.. I would be interested to know where you got your information from?

That is an interesting consideration that I hadn’t thought about so far. Basically, I had so far thought more like house in the west = bad, because that would create a lot of shade in the garden. I understand that it also depends on the size of the house, but wouldn’t you have any concerns about that?

That’s more or less how I had imagined it too, since with this variant you can enjoy the sun on the terrace all day long.. I would still be interested in the opinions of the other users on this suggestion.

Thanks anyway for the suggestions.

In your plan, heights are marked at the corner points. From this, the difference of almost 2 m results.

The heights of the individual corners are listed in the third plan. I didn’t see it at first either ;) 2m over the distance really isn’t much and is hardly noticeable by eye. It’s the same with our 2m over an approximately 29x23m property. I was a bit surprised when the official site plan with height profile came for the first time :/ Every option has its pros and cons. I currently have a WNW balcony. In summer around 6 pm you can’t bear it there without extra shading because the sun is hitting it full on. In your specific case, you would have a relatively tall house (2 full floors + gable roof?) that is also elevated. Placing it in the west could indeed cause some shading under certain circumstances. On the other hand, in summer you tend to be shaded later in the evening by the northern neighbor if you are somewhere in the northeast area.
