My wife and I are in a similar (financial) situation and will also do the 1,500. We will take a loan with repayment rate adjustment so that we can reduce it if things get tighter.

Right, thanks for the hint. The €1500 loan is the €1500 installment to the bank for the mentioned house! ;) Since we regularly visit my parents 150 km away, we do need a station wagon. But we are straying too much. I will rethink at the end of the year, you scoundrels! There is an exposé from 3 years ago. Photos attached. Exactly, my wife’s increased salary is already taken into account. Nothing will change there anymore. The daycare money will disappear again in 2 years, but then the little one will of course be bigger and need other things (sports club, equipment, etc.). From that direction? The ZIP code 26188 is really large. The house is located in Friedrichsfehn, which is the first town after the city in that ZIP code area. Beautiful forest nearby, good bus connection towards the city reached in 1 minute.

For the price, not much can go wrong. Besides, the house looks great.

I would do without the KfW story. It blocks and makes some things more complicated because you have to take action after 10 years.
